Undevall circumstances these are great suggestions to rebuild our society....BUT normally people can easily grasp ,the
lead by example concept .And I am sure many people believe in this possibilty .. But when you see repeatedly for years government corruption and life on a large scale has become so cheapened by greed and dishonesty . It is hard to imagine we will ever get back to those badly needed concepts in our Society. Sadly electing a multiple felon to the presidential office, Does not look good as a future for those old values . The best one could do is manage there own interpersonal relatinships as best as one can..

Here is a brief video about people from China migrating to Thailand for a more relaxed lifestyle:

We're not the only ones suffering from modernism.

According to the surgeon general Dr Murthy
"A majority of young adults say they have little or no sense of purpose or meaning in life."

But then he says "Perhaps this is because so many of the messages coming at us tell us to prioritize a different triad, the triad of success: fame, wealth, and power...on their own, they rarely bring lasting fulfillment."

Vivek is a actually a powerful, famous individual - surgeon general, and his wife is a specialist in internal medicine. I can' really imagine he and his wife pursued a medical career for wealth, fame or fortune....right? But then didn't he get paid $2m as a guest speaker during COVID

I guess we need to listen to billionaires like the other Vivek (Ramaswamy) and Elon Musk. But then after they told Americans they wanted to bring jobs to America they turned around and said tech firms should not hire Americans?

So perhaps we should spend more time reflecting introspectively to find our purpose instead of listening to rich people who are only looking after themselves.

well is he going to start growing some laboratory beef cause me and my boyfriend would eat it, if it's cheaper than the regular beef we'll go for it. Either way I mentioned to my boyfriend we may have to get used to less meat protein and have to eat more lentils and beans to sustain ourselves. We did make a soup with lentils and beef and he was thinking of adding some ground beef but I opposed it cause idk I figured we should start getting used to less meat in our soups cause in these next 4 years who knows how much meat will cost. So we better start learning to make due with a bit of meat and then lots of beans and lentils to make up for the lack of protien of not having much meat in the soup. Beans and lentils are quite cheap and can be tasty with some seasoning. hopefully they don't start charging 6.99 per can for canned beans.

more like we need to eat the rich like Elon Musk, not literally but just saying, has elon musk really done anything to help out the working class? but yet some Magas are willing to die for trump/Elon musk. And as elon musks daughter says more or less I also cannot understand why people fall for his shenanigans either....shes a smart girl and her father is a facist idiot.

She's brave because her father will threaten to disinherit her. Perhaps she had nothing to lose I guess, with his values he was never going to agree to her life choices.

I kind of imagine Elon spending his last days re-enacting Space Odyssey 2001 on Mars. It might be he leaves nothing to nobody.

People in my drought city: 'oh its so nice having no snow and 50 degrees weather' a couple months later 'cough cough' so much fire, why is there no break....well if it was god it would be liek cause you dumbasses made it this way and burnt your own land down...sorry hollywood star I guess you will have to move to your summer home in aspen Colorado which is also very likely to burn down as well since we got no snow this winter. And so will be the end of the biggest known living organism.

Australia is also in the throes of wild weather every year. We have had California type wildfires regularly and coupled with wild storms, floods and drought its challenging our "most liveable" moniker.

Rethinking how we live is an interesting and compelling prospect given there's solar flares, polar shifts, super volcanoes, asteroids, AI, pandemics and climate change. So maybe the famous, successful and wealthy surgeon general may be on to something?
