Silly NTs, I have Aspergers, and having Aspergers is gr-r-reat!
I think to be fair, most of us are so enamoured with our high tech lives we would rather have cables running through fragile rainforests and mobile phone towers and electric car chargers popping up in every corner of accessible land than save a couple of endangered freshwater frogs.
Except in school, people become so disconnected from how ecosystems work or how demand for the latest wooden interiors in home renovations, coffee or the parts that make up our precious electronics cause the environmental chaos leading to species extinction.
Local Aussies are fond of sea bathing but don't realise they are frolicking around in their own sewage and agro-industrial waste. I am amazed anything remains alive in our rivers or oceans.
