Like Eskimos certain countries only had few daylight hours, the whole region packed enough snowfall to prevent movement.

So in these areas way chimney is built prevents entire house from freezing up, not only that but ice was melted for washing, designed for old fashioned central heating. And of course later on a need for electricity if you have between 3-5 hours daylight in winter.

In celebrating 2050 and innovations that spark like laser ideas from star wars, what truly did you inventions and why, was it because over exaggerate bit of snow on mountain with total lack of understanding?

I need to change my username to Rip Van WInkle. If it is 2050, I've obviously been asleep for 25 years.

Just an FYI:

Quote:
In Canada and Greenland, and to a certain extent in Alaska, the term Eskimo is predominantly seen as offensive and has been widely replaced by the term Inuit

and
Quote:
In 1977, the Inuit Circumpolar Conference (ICC) meeting in Barrow, Alaska (now Utqiaġvik, Alaska), officially adopted Inuit as a designation for all circumpolar Native peoples, regardless of their local view on an appropriate term. They voted to replace the word Eskimo with Inuit.

They have a name for Nazis that were only Nazis because of economic anxiety or similar issues. They're called Nazis.

Judging by the lack of clarity of the original post, I suspect the author struggles to express herself coherently in English, and that it may be unhelpful to criticise the use of the "E" word, in the current context.

I'm not sure how it's not helpful to let someone know they're using a slur, unless they intended on using a slur.
