If most people were autistic, they would be neurotypical.
For some reason I don't worry about the numbers. I might be part of a minority group, but I've always felt that the majority is the group that's got it all wrong. It seems my view isn't without support:
“I never feel unsafe except for when the majority is on my side.”

If Aspies were the majority I'd probably want to be a neurotypical.

It would be very different, as Autistics lack the herd instinct that is at the root of most NT behaviour. Rationally, there's no reason why individuals should be considered objects of fear and loathing, just because they are "not like us".
No instinct doesn't imply lack of behavior.
Since it doesn't say if autistics are the majority for all times;
No instinct doesn't also imply lack of exposure and acquisitions to socialization.
Because, really, there are too many autistics who are socialized to feel inferior and lonely and wanting to be in the crowd or a relationship, thinking that this is actually the basis of 'lack of herd instinct'.
Actually, it's more like a mismatch between a working herd instinct to be included and the ensurance to survive, and the lack of intuitive behaviors to fulfill that inclusion and assurance of survival.
This particular mismatch is where a lot of 'social disability' is touted amongst autistics.
Too bad, there's not exactly a lot of way to be being able to distinguish between socially awkward deprived and lonely soul, from socially apathetic but happier and healthier, and then from a resigned cope.
