Hello,
I'm a tough person to talk to. I use different words and my speech has a lot of artistic expressions. Does this make neurotypical people not want to talk to me?

Hey! Welcome to the forum :).

In my experience, using big words and sophisticated literary expressions can be off-putting to most neurotypical people because it can come across as conceited and arrogant, sorry to say.

The only exception I can think of is in the legal profession (which is one of the things that keeps me in the the court services profession, I have to say. Such cute archaisms too ;) ).

Of course, you have a right to use whichever words you want. But just be aware of the effect this may have.

Hope this helps.
