I think that Musk might be vulnerable to manipulative fascists online.
Someone has poisoned his mind.

I'm pretty sure his indoctrination/radicalization started at home.

Stop blaming others for his views. He is not 12 years old and not intellectually disabled.

Since we are engaging in evidence-less speculation I might as well add mine. This is mostly about his anger that his daughter is trans.

Saying he was exposed to those ideas at an early age isn't shifting responsibility.

Like you say, he isn't 12 years old or intellectually disabled. He's responsible for his actions and for what he believes, even if he was introduced to it at an early age.

Ironically, there's another thread on here where your message would seem more appropriate.

 Typical Murdoch rag looking for muck to rake over. Then 80 year old muck in this case.

See - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-33578174

the BBC article seems to suggest the picture presented by the Sun newspaper was misleading and dishonest.
The opening paragraphs, the first words, state:
BBC News wrote:
Buckingham Palace has said it is disappointed that footage from 1933 showing the Queen performing a Nazi salute has been released.

The Sun has published the film, which shows the Queen aged about seven, with her mother, sister and uncle.

The palace said it was "disappointing that film, shot eight decades ago... has been obtained and exploited".

The newspaper has refused to say how it got the footage but said it was an "important and interesting story".
That's a strange way to start an article if the BBC thinks the picture itself is misleading and dishonest.

In fact the complaint was that the usage of the image was misleading and dishonest, as indeed it was.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make about a snapshot in time from (then) 80-odd years ago - it seems rather too much like an "ooh, reds under the bed!!" scare, and particularly when viewed in relation to the wartime record of the royal family. (Edward is of course another issue).

So unlike the idiot manchild Musk with his long and continuing support of extreme right-wing nastiness, this typically grubby attempt of The Sun to expose a "royal scandal" simply doesn't hold water.

Quote:
I would not be so quick to sweep this under the carpet as it indicates how pervasive the influence of the Nazis was over the british royals even if Elizabeth can't be held accountable for her actions because she was too young.
You know, when every single gesture/expression/interest is examined in atomic detail in the expectation of finding something, something will be found.
Whether it's relevant or even true is another matter.

I believe his grandfather was a strong supporter of South Africa's apartheid policies which were based on a mix of US Jim Crow laws, Nazism and eugenics. He wrote some disparaging things about black people and Musk deeply admires him

It's almost ENTIRELY about that.
THE ENTIRE WORLD is being punished because Elon Musk is having a hissy fit about his daughter.

The man has lost his marbles, but it's NOT because of anything related to any possible autism issues.
I don't know about anybody else but I am sick of seeing everyone and their grandmother jumping up and saying
"It's his autism, his autism, bla bla bla quack quack quack" and using it as a one-size-fits-all bandaid excuse for bad behavior.
Society needs to stop acting like armchair experts who hand out knee-jerk autism badges for every person who "doesn't act right".
Autism is not "the universal explainer" for deep personality flaws and ethical lapses and we need to stop handing out "Handicap Hall Passes" every time some idiot says or does something stupid.

Musk might possibly be on the spectrum but it does not explain why he is acting so evil.
