I think I must have watched Threads when it first came out because it would have been around the time where I was having dreams where I was the only survivor of a nuclear war

I feel most developed countries have nukes as a deterrent against aggression (as an example look what happened to Ukraine when they gave up their nukes in 94; if they still had nukes I doubt if Russia would have invaded their country). What concerns me if terrorists get their hands on a nuke or make a dirty bomb. I feel the middle east is the area that causes me the most concern. The Arab world knows it is no match for Israel in a conventional war so it would not surprise me if they decided to use nukes plus they have an ally (Iran) who has the know how.

Agree totally. Putin may be an evil murdering dictator but he's not stupid.

How much of the Arab world is actually allied with Iran? There was Syria, but not anymore. It's just the Houthis and Hezbollah left on Iran's side now, afaik.

I feel they are allies in the sense they have a hatred for Israel especially after the way they devastated Palestine

I think you're stretching the word ally past it's breaking point to describe a bunch of Saudi allies as Iranian allies because they sympathize with a people who are being mistreated.

Saudi Arabia and Iran are the two poles around which politics in that area are polarized. Sympathy for the Palestinians is one of the few causes that both poles agree on but that hardly makes members of the pro-Saudi bloc allies of Iran.

I'm terrified of acute radiation poisoning and if nukes ever are dropped on us I'll just have to end it all in a faster and less horrible fashion.

Being the delicate blue flower that I am, I'm very afraid of nuclear war.
