I didn't develop an interest in music until right at the end of the 90s.

But I used to hear music drift across the road from a warehouse radio and in through my open bedroom window on a warm day.

One of the songs I remember hearing was this:



I recently remembered it and sought it out. I didn't know what it was about until now. I think it's quite remarkable really - the entire history of humanity and a side order of existential angst contained in a radio-friendly pop song.
