Just like in the title :)

Do you buy and own really expensive things, like let's say, cosmetics, clothes, jewellery, perfumes or whatever? I personally couldn't afford such expensive products but practically EVERYTHING I get is my contest winnings (I practically don't need to buy stuff for myself and mom now) and yes - in many cases those are expensive things indeed :) Like very expensive facial care creams for my mom :D Or jewellery for me :) Or - recently - I won an expensive set of Giorgio Armani perfumes for us both.

I buy silver and stocks which are fairly expensive for me.

I used to activately collect anime figures and plushies for the past 5 years. When I finally got a reality check I've decided to stop my luxury hobbies for now and try my best to budget.

I probably spent like around $2,000 total. Someday I am going to downsize my collection and sell my regrets. At least I can keep the items that spark me joy the most.

I buy thick, expensive bed sheets now because cheap ones tend to rot away in a couple of months in our climate, so the cheap ones are false economy.
Also, I buy very good quality shoes because they're comfortable and it makes more sense to have a couple of pair of good shoes I can wear everywhere rather than a lot of cheap ones I hardly wear at all.
Almost everything else I buy second hand.

I like to buy Lego. I buy the classic sets so that I can use my own imagination.

I volunteer at a Salvos store so often I'll buy from there. I bought a fridge for half price - $125 and it's very good quality with glass shelves and a stainless steel surface, I love it. I've also bought a two-seater lounge and four dining room chairs all for $360.

One thing I did spend a lot on - I went to a bedding shop and bought a new mattress for $1300. I think I was ripped off a bit but once I handed my card over the deal was done.

My computer is very old and second hand but it runs (although slowly). I'll probably buy another second hand one once Windows 11 becomes standard. I use Word a lot so I need Microsoft.

Depends, lol with some tech things I go more expensive like a bosie speaker for my t.v and a 9,000 dollar PC with my tax return, but yeah outside of the PC and Xbox series X I don't have anything even a little bit valuble, unless a mueseum would want to pay me for the very nice chunck of copper I have from lake superior when I used to live in duluth. interstingly the piece I found was shaped like lake superior but after keeping it so many years the chunck that make it look like that has fallen off. So to give it that look I have to show where the chunk came off but yeah idk how valuble that is I still have it and I dare sat it is a nicer specimen than the Denver museum of nature and science has, so for a time I have considered if I should give them my peice. LIke idk its copper and has like gems starting to grow in it and idk I have never wanted to give it up cause I Like how it looks but maybe everyone should be able to see it so maybe I should give to a museum. If theyd be interested in a nice thick copper float from minnasota that looks like lake superior if you put the broken peice back on right.
