Mine is the Greek one :) It was my very first obsessive interest ever - I was six then when my uncle recommened to me a book on this - it was called "Myths of Greeks and Romans". I took this book two years later from his house after his sudden death because I loved it so much. My very favorite god was Hades, I imagined it should be me instead of Persephone who should be his wife :D And you? I won recently in an online contest a book on the Sumerian mythology and I want to read it when I only get it :)

I used to be obsessed with Greco-Roman mythology, and then later with Germanic mythology. I don't think I have a favourite anymore though.

I'm still and ever since I was a young child, I was a real expert on the Greek mythology :D The Roman one wasn't as interesting to me as the Greek one, though. I'm Polish but my knowlege of the Slavic mythology is close to zero - but that's because practically no info on it has survived. Out of those, I like only Leszy:

and Veles, the god of the underworld (like Hades):

I think my favorite is Greco-Roman mythology. Some of it is related to having very fond memories of taking a Classical literature class with one of my favorite professors when I was in college.

A lot of Christian mythology is very interesting. They went hard when building their setting.

When I was 8-9, I read a bit about the Sumerian mythology in Zenon Kosidowski's book "The Bible Tales" on the beginnings of judaism and the explanation of all those biblical miracles :P It's a great book for a beginner in atheism. It was when the seed was sown. Now, in the next few days, I'll get my book on the Sumerian mythology - and believe me that I'm going to read it "from the plank to the plank" which is a Polish idiom for reading a book thoroughly.

I think the English equivalent is 'cover to cover'. :nerdy:

Indian followed closely by Mayan.
European mythology is derived from the same source as Indian.

But the "plank to plank" is more interesting because everybody knows that books have ordinary covers, while not everybody knows back in the past they had planks instead :D

I've never learned a lot about any mythologies, only invented them. I have a very thoroughly developed story about the Goose family and their shoes who were alive.
