She said one something to me that was incredibly offensive, inappropriate and triggering. I responded by telling her that what she said to me was traumatic and I will now have to deal with that trauma. She told me that the way that I responded sounded angry and that I have to take responsibility for hurting her feelings. I fired her immediately.

Yeah.. doctors and therapists are just people with labels and they are gonna get defensive.

I also had a social worker ask about my love life to "see if it was the same as on big bang theory".

Good to see that somebody's fired a health professional. Too many people see them as some kind of authority.

I can't judge the merits of this case because I don't know what was said. But ultimately I think the customer is always right.

She basically asked me if I had incestuous feelings for my brother because he has been ghosting me and I am really struggling with that because we were very close and I really miss him.

She made it a point to say that I have to learn to take responsibility for what I say to people.

I remember when I fired one of mine 25 years ago.

I wish more people would have the courage to put these "professionals" in their places. So many of them are getting away with damaging and destroying vulnerable people.

Thank you. I do too. I have had to fire several of them. It's really hard to find a good one.

Sounds like she was a bit too sold on Freud.
