Micromanaging boss
Head cashier Angela d and front end supervisor Angela w have been micromanaging me way too much lately.
Been working there four years and two months. Zero write ups.
Do not know if they micromanage everyone else more, less or equally as me.
Makes me so f*****g uptight and paranoid s**t
There is a theory that the main cause of work place stress isn't long hours, workload and interactional issue its lack of personal autonomy. Which is often caused by micro management.

in physics, it is possible to measure stress.
in psychology, it is not possible to objectively measure "stress" per se.

yesterday, i told head cashier AC that i was going on break, and then i went on break. a couple minutes later, head cashier RS had the nerve to come into the breakroom and ask if i was on break. (rolls eyes)
day before that, head cashier RS said she was looking for me and could not find me. i told that b***h i was spotting a forklift. "spotting who?" she had the nerve to cross examine me, like a lawyer. "adam"
those ass holes act like they don't trust me or some s**t. on the other hand, maybe they micromanage all the lot attendants, not just me. s**t, i couldn't imagine how much they micromanage cashiers. (rolls eyes)

I agree.
Its quite subjective.

Today I was unlocking a corral of shopping carts when head cashier Star came and told me to push the carts in Freight.
Went to Freight. A lot of shopping carts covered in bubble wrap. I had to cut off the wrap with scissors and use the key to unlock the carts. Then an hour later when I told head cashier Angela D that I was going to lunch, that micromanaging, scrutinizing and cross examining b***h had the nerve to ask me "one hour ago when star asked you to push the carts in Freight, did you not do it?"
I f*****g panicked because I thought I was getting made redundant.
"I was pushing the carts but now I am on lunch" I answered
Angela had the nerve to repeat her question. She wasn't yelling but she sounded suppressed and angry and self righteous b***h.
"The carts were wrapped in bubble wrap and I had to cut them with scissors and unlock them with a key" I told the idiot
"Have a nice lunch" she said
I didn't answer
I had to think of what Angela didn't know, that she didn't know that she didn't know (subconscious incompetence) and tell her. Otherwise I would have gotten written up.
But the whole time was on video tape and I was following instructions so I don't think I should have to put up with cross examinations like that
On the other hand the whole state is"at will " so whatever s**t
Besides even if the court subpoenaed me and I got accused of murder, it is not possible to"prove" that I didn't murder anyone. But if I got sent to jail because I couldn't prove I didn't murder anyone, then everyone else that could not prove they didn't murder anyone, should also get sent to jail. Then everyone would be in jail.
Besides sometimes someone frames up the defendant and even though the defendant is not guilty, the jury renders the defendant the "guilty " verdict and the defendant gets sent to jail
"Life" goes on and on and on
s**t
On the other hand, it is not "just " the head cashiers and the front end supervisor that has been micromanaging me personally.
Other supervisors also micromanage other employees
Just today, head cashier Alicia asked lot attendant Daniel why he didn't answer a call for the service desk. Daniel said he was spotting a forklift
A couple of weeks ago, supervisor Angela had the nerve to bark at cashier donita because donita allegedly accepted a counterfeit. But Angela didn't bark at the customer. Donita has been working there 18 years. Donita is nice enough. Angela told donita that when donita was still on break in the break room
f**k both Angela's
Want to quit home Depot but I am afraid other McJobs micromanage employees even more than home Depot
s**t
yesterday head cashier alicia asked me to push the carts inside the building.
while i was doing that, head cashier star had the nerve to ask me "did they tell you to push the baskets in the building?".
"i'm trying to do that right now" i told that micromanaging b***h.
(rolls eyes)
f**k star for micromanaging me
f**k angela w for sending her minions to micromanage me
s**t
yesterday when i was in the training room doing a training video, angela-bitch had the nerve to come in and look @ the screen.
f**k that stupidass b***h s**t.
she's the one that got pregnant in high school. not me!
and what the flying f**k has she been doing @ work, that could possibly justify her income, besides going around micromanaging other idiots?
that stupidass b***h deserves to get made redundant and be homeless, s**t!
The supervisor just finished barking at me and she said that the head cashier couldn't find me. I told her that the parking lot has a lot of blind spots and not all parts of the parking lot are visible from all other parts of the parking lot. She said that I have to be more "visible" and if she had to tell me again, she was going to write me up. f**k that b***h. I asked the head cashier if I was doing a good job and she said "yes". The supervisor said they were getting better walkie talkies and the current ones pick up next door's talking. I don't know if she told all the lot attendants what she told me. Or if she is singling me out. She told me to keep the entrance clean and I told her that yesterday and today I picked up a pallet and swept concrete and it is on video tape
From now on I am afraid to go to the litterbox because she said she would write me up, even though I have been working here four years and zero write ups.
I wonder if she just doesn't like me and she is looking for a reason to make my worthless corpse redundant
Today I stacked a pallet and took it to Receiving
Then I continued to push carts in the parking lot
Two hours later when I went to tell Angela d that I was on lunch, she said that ASM Javier said that he saw me walk past some lumber carts and I didn't push them. I was f*****g stuttering and so scared they would tell me I was made redundant. I told her that I was afraid that someone would tell me to do XYZ and I will do XYZ and someone higher ranking will say that I should have done ABC and then make me redundant.
Angela said she would type the demands and sign it.
A couple of minutes ago , John M left the breakroom with his backpack and ASM Gabriel and someone from Corporate, Jorge, were waiting. (I want to know if John got made redundant, but I am not going to ask anyone because I don't want them to tell me it is not my business s**t)
Been so afraid that my supervisor, or anyone else, would have the nerve to make my worthless corpse redundant. Emotional overeating. Thus far, no weight gained. (Scale might not be working). Difficulty falling and staying asleep. That's not "proof" it is because my boss had the nerve to threaten to write me up on Wednesday. Causation versus correlation is extremely difficult to find in Statistics. Not a controlled experiment. Not a representative sample.
Yesterday, I asked head cashier Angela d to write me some instructions so I will be able to know what to do. Home depots official method of communication is Grapevine. Bosses tell one employee to do something and to tell other employees. Now I have the orders in writing. (Rolls eyes).
I asked Angela d if home Depot was going through new management or something and she said that home Depot has been changing what it is doing. And they have been talking to other lot attendants too, one at a time.
Other bosses have been micromanaging other employees, not just my boss micromanaging me. However, the bosses do play nepotism and favoritism so whatever
I tried to look on Reddit and it says that other employees have gotten written up for unjustified reasons, such s not smiling enough, and helping customers in other departments.
I have been applying to other jobs for a long time and no answer
On the other hand, there is no way to know if another job or company is better or worse than home Depot, until you work there. A large part of what makes a job good or bad depends on the employees that work there. And there is no way to know what kind of people work there, without actually working there
Due to autism I am bad at dealing with change
Changing jobs is like trying to jump from a moving car/ boat to another car/ boat. The other car/ boat might look faster and better but things are not always the way they appear. Besides, it might be better and faster at that time but things change
Besides I am 41 and have been working at home Depot for four years and four months and one week. That's the longest I have ever had a paying job. The second longest was five months, Tuesday Morning store, cashier, age 18. Plenty of jobs had the nerve to make my worthless corpse redundant. Long periods of unemployment. Autism. Zero job skills. Seriously regret not doing better at college. Unstable work history.
Nobody is going to hire me again if I get made redundant from home Depot, and I don't have enough Work Credits to get government benefits in United States
maybe if the supervisor (or any other ass hole) has the nerve to make my worthless corpse redundant, i could try to appeal to the store manager (go above their head) or DHRM or what the flying f**k ever.
on the other hand, this sort of chaos/wreak havoc/BS, could happen in any company. especially McJobs.
and while i think that skilled jobs have less micromanagement and fewer convicted felons, i did not measure the amount of micromanagement and count the number of convicted felons, in a representative sample of jobs, and then plot on an "xy" graph, "amount of skill necessary" versus "amount of micromanagement". that is/was just my opinion, not a fact, not a social norm, not a geometric proof, not an algebraic axiom.
(rolls eyes)
mostly i just HATE how angela w-bitch acts like she doesn't trust me, even though all the head cashiers say i did a "good job", and plenty of idiots, such as angela W, tracie, ASM Dsmith, and other ass holes, do little all day long more than stand around flapping their retardedass traps.
home depot is like a "fun house" (tv show) where everything is backwards and upside down. some of the ASMs (dsmith) are the most useless, laziest, stupidest ass holes in the building. which is to say a lot. s**t.
