Idk if this is related to autism. But i unintentionally slur while talking. I recorded my own voice and it shows, and this does not happen all the time. Usually happens more when i feel tired. I doubt if it's a different illness, or autism, or it's just how i speak.

I have this problem sometimes. I have Essential Tremors which can act up when doing things with fine motor-skills & it can also affect my voice. It affects my voice more when I'm streesed, anxious, tired, &/or doing lots of talking. I tried googling Essential Tremors + autism before & couldn't find anything about a connection. Being on certain meds like antipsychotics such as Abilify/Aripiprazole can make it worse too. I think some antipsychotics can cause slurring issues in people who don't normally have problems talking so it should be no surprise that I'd be more sensitive to that side-effect. If your on any psych meds or other types of meds you could try researching them to check for a possible connection & also discuss it with your docs/psychs.
