I have had thing more lately where clothing sensitivity happens, it is like I have to take off all clothes and watch and weighted blanket even feels uncomfortable. have to lay on bed without it on top and be like that for few hours. headphones at same time can be eh but it is sometimes ok as well. does anyone else have this? where it is like i suddenly have to take all clothes off or it feels very bad. although i do not think it is texture since what i wear is normally fine? not bad like some clothes being bad moment put on.

Yes, I can't wear anything but pure cotton. But they don't make it anymore, what they advertise as cotton isn't pure cotton. The new shirts I bought are driving me mad. I have some old clothes, that is falling apart but it's the only clothes that aren't bothering me. Blankets too are a problem. Not sure what they're made of but I can't stand them.

To me it's mostly the weight.

Sometimes texture isn't the issue I got, but where it's covered or not.
It's more like thickness and looseness for me as well.

And I'm not even wearing layers that often.

Never even wear seasonal clothing myself. Climate wise, the clothes norm here is mostly no more than two layers.

Yes. I'm sensitive to the slightest pressure where a garment doesn't quite fit, can't tolerate clothes that contain plastic (skin can't breathe), hate wearing stiff fabrics. Don't get me started about shirts that keep coming untucked from my trousers. Baggy clothes billow out and get in my way. The other day I accidentally put on a t-shirt that's very slightly too tight, and I felt like it was restricting my breathing. Sometimes it's just the change that bothers me and after a couple of days I get used to the new situation.

Oh yes I have issues here!

Things I cannot wear-

1. Shirts that have a logo that's sewn on, say like on a polo shirt, it has a logo on it and the part that's on the inside of the shirt has this stitching on the back that's all itchy and scratchy. That's just torture, no can do.

2.Pique polo shirts, the material is like sandpaper on my skin. I need cotton or the polyester ones

3. Gold Toe socks. This brand of socks is awful to me, the seams always dig into my toes and turning them inside out doesn't help

4.Hats that have those plastic snap things on the back, where you adjust it to size. I cannot do those; they dig into the back of my head.

5.Boxer Briefs- tried them and they felt weird, always ride up my leg.

6.No show socks, they always twist and slip off into my shoe. Ankle socks no problem though.

For me if I find a brand I like, I will buy multiple pairs. Such as-

1.Wrangler Relaxed fit jeans from Walmart. They have to be relaxed fit and this brand.

2.Stafford Boxers from JC Penny. No other brand feels quite right.

3. Grand Slam Polo shirts- These tend to fit the best as the sleeves are long enough

4. Anything Carhartt works well. The T-shirts especially, as they are long enough in the sleeves and roomy enough for my beer belly.

5. Asics sneakers are my usual go to for sneakers, but I have started to like Under Armour too.

Clothing and me is a complicated thing.
