Does anyone have insights they feel like sharing on coping with seemingly impossible deadlines imposed in a work context, and managing expectations around those?

I suspect of course there are strong linkages with wider questions of company culture, feedback mechanisms (i.e. "this project deadline is not possible to meet because ..." followed by an adjustment), egos (fragile or otherwise), transparency of information reporting etc etc

I've been getting increasingly overloaded and ovewhelmed recently, find it hard to cope, focus on the work that I need to do, create and maintain effective working relationships etc. I feel that the professional feedback I have been offering is not valued, that the work I am responsible for delivering will not be effective, and that I will be held responsible for delivering something broken instead of something that works.

Changing my situation is not a realistic option for me at the moment. I need to be able to find effective strategies for minimising impact so that I can better cope.
