This is a wonderful place, a planet of my liking!

Im soon to be diagnosed so I do not know what the formal verdict is to be.
Tests online shows borderline Autisme/Asperger.

Reading about ASD explain a lot for me about the life lived to these days with the non liking of the not so educated and person skilled bosses.

I am these days leaving my dysfunctional workplace and going back to my fabulous colleagues in my old workplace.

So much is going the right way for me now, and finding this place brings me a lot of joy, thnx :D

Sounds like you're on your way up, great to hear and keep going! Lots of literature on ASD out there that will be of help.

I've been to Oslo twice. It was so beautiful when the sun set over the fjord ... And my wife's been to Tromso to see the northern lights. Beautiful country.

Bjorn247, Welcome to Wrong Planet.

It is always good to have friends. So returning to a job where you have friends and people who do not create stress can be a good decision.

I just got here! What was the outcome?

I have my own assessment. If a person has an autism assessment coming up and they are worried it wont say they are autistic, they are autistic. Normies don't want to be cool like us 8)

First of all, welcome. I am also new here.

I self diagnosed about a year ago, then was professionally diagnosed recently. Would it have made a difference if the professionally diagnostic answer was 'no'? Not really.

Professional diagnosis, at least for me, was based on the DSM diagnostic criteria. I ticked all of the boxes. If I had been one ticked box short of a diagnosis, would it really matter? What exactly would that mean? Would I be 'almost autistic'?

If self diagnosis helps you understand your self and your life better, then that's all that really matters. There may be legal, medical, workplace, or insurance reasons where a professional diagnosis is required, but if what you need is affirmation and self-understanding, then a professional assessment 'no' shouldn't matter. You are what matters.

I think it is a matter of ticking enough of the boxes.

And there is also a possibility of almost ticking enough of the boxes.
