Sometimes that sort of phrasing is used in scam emails that want to get you to give them your personal information.

100%; emails like this are almost always examples of spearphishing attacks.

There's some questions she can ask herself to help confirm that's the case, like:

Do I have an Amazon account? If no, it's 100% a scam.
Was the email sent from an Amazon associated email? If no, it's 100% a scam.
Have I made a recent purchase on Amazon? If no, it's 100% a scam.

That sounds scammy, did you give them any personal info? and are you missing any money?

Cause I fell victim to a keylogger, like they sent a thing that looked like a login for a game I was playing onlime for like prizes but they basically just stole my password to overtake my account for a bit, my brother helped me some....but also I had to go to the credit union and explain to them what happened and they were able to restore my money but it was kind of embarrasing to have to write in the statement I fell for a keylogger, but yeah they got me my money back which was a relief. But yeah especially if you gave them any info you should check with your bank and make sure no money was taken out that you didn't authorize, and if so you need to go to your bank and tell them you may have gotten scammed and they may be able to help.

It wasn’t an email, it was the Amazon website.

Contact Amazon, that's the best way to confirm if it's legit or not.
