Hello everyone,

I am looking for a website to purchase DVDs and Blu-rays from. I am mostly into buying boxsets of TV shows since I do not believe in paying for streaming services.

Do any of you have experience with a good online movie store? I would like an alternative to Amazon if for some reason they do not carry a title I am looking for. I also think that Amazon doesn't really need my business and I prefer to help out the little man when possible.

Thanks,

CFL

I tend to try Barnes & Noble first.

Their selection tends toward mainstream stuff but occasionally has odd stuff.

There is a brick-and-mortar B&N not too far from our home so, if there is a problem, I can go there and talk to someone in person.

What follows is a qualified recommendation: Movies Unlimited.

Qualifications:
▪ I first bought from Movies Unlimited in 2011 but I don't buy much from them. Many years nothing.
▪ I haven't used their website (yet?). I receive catalogs in the mail and mail them my orders.

But:
▪ They handled my mistakes very nicely.
▪ They appear to have a huge selection.

Thanks for suggesting this site. It looks like there is quite an array of different titles to choose from. My only issue is that they charge Canada the international shipping rate of 30.00.
