Hi yall,
I have been on Wrong Planet for 4 years.I joined Wrong Planet 4 years ago today. I joined during the Great Texas Ice Storm of 2021.

Hi! I just got here.

Did you see this video explaining what happened with the power grid failure during the Great Texas Ice Storm 2021? I found it interesting even though I'm not from Texas. If you watch the video, what do you think? Was it how you experienced it?

Well we did not lose power because we were close to a hospital at the time and in Texas they have special things with the grid around hospitals and fire stations to keep them from losing power. We did not lose power a single time during the ice storm.

Hello and Happy 4 years :) Glad you made it through that polar plunge. I know that TX.. as far south as Houston has had snow this winter and even New Orleans and the Florida panhandle got several inches once!
