What kind of injuries have you gotten? What were you trying to do when you got them?

What kind of diseases have you gotten? How did they affect your health?

In what ways is your health getting worse?

In the past 18 months I've sprained both ankles in separate incidents playing hockey. One was due to a collision, the other was due to being tripped.

I don't believe my health is getting worse.

Last major injury was when I broke my arm. It was the radius near my elbow. I fell off a chair trying to reach something. I was alone at work. I continued to to my job until I drove home. After dinner, I realised I couldn't straighten my arm and it was starting to hurt more. So I drove to the ED. An X-ray and a sling later, I drove home with great difficulty. Lucky my car is automatic. I had 6 weeks off work and then I was fine.

My asthma has been getting worse. My GP had me go for a bunch of blood tests on Wednesday but I don't know the results yet.

Too numerous to list .When asked , what injuries I have had on almost every single Doctors intake form .
You get most of your major bones in a body crush injury, :skull: .vehicular accident, Multiples. 2nd was just a leg and and a arm broke. And a few others . very long to recover ,Each time. But I did learn a bunch of Medical things ,and terms in the meantime  . Doctors, MDs tried to write me off. :( Recovered from paralysis, :ninja: Surprised everyone ,Told mum back then , that at best would be a wheelchair bound vegatable....Guess had much more living to do.
35 years later. many surgeries and experiences , past over the years . Still doing my thing . :nerdy:

Injuries:
Broke a leg when I was a teenager, crossing a road to catch a bus, a van had pulled up illegally, which blocked my view of the traffic, and I stupidly decided to take a chance.
Got a couple of minor cuts while experimenting with putting bicarbonate and vinegar in a glass bottle.
Cut a couple of the fingers of my left hand quite seriously while trying to make a herb-chopping machine out of an old-style weed eater that had a big metal blade.

Diseases:
A few childhood diseases such as measles and chicken pox, fully recovered.

Appendicitis, recovered completely after operation, though I was in a lot of pain afterwards for a week or two.

Heart failure. After that they put stents into a couple of my arteries that they said had been 90% blocked, and they implanted a pacemaker and defibrillator. After recovery my health doesn't seem any worse than before the attack, but I'll probably have to take anticoagulants and blood pressure tablets for the rest of my life. My blood pressure had been "high normal" for years before that, but it's normal these days.

I had alopecia for a while, but it fixed itself.

Tooth decay in a couple of molars, got a dental implant with porcelain crowns. The dentistry was horrible but after I'd recovered it's all fine.

My overall health is a tad worse now than it was when I was younger, but nothing abnormal for somebody of my age. Just a few relatively minor aches and pains that I never used to have. Eczema is worse than it used to be, but I have a few fairly safe interventions. They say I'm getting cataracts, but they also say they're not severe enough to need surgery yet, and I seem able to see as well as I ever could, so far. Visits to the doctor are pretty rare.
