20 minutes jump rope and my weights (shoulders chest and triceps today)

I might do a bit of cycling later but I'm not making any promises

So far today, I've got out of bed, got dressed, made a cup of tea, drunk it, started my laptop, and pressed some keys. It's rather a heavy laptop and I had to carry it to my bed.

It’s Saturday and I’m having a tough time getting going. Hopefully tonight I can muster the energy to go to the gym. We had thunderstorms last night so I couldn’t go then.

The pups and I have walked about a bit. I’ll probably take them to the park tomorrow.

I’m thankful for this forum today because it’s helping me to engage with the world at a time when I need the motivation. Even a little connection helps.

Yes a little bit of connection is a lot better than none.

I need to go to Walmart for groceries, so that'll be my daily half mile of walking done.

I got out the hedge trimmer and cut the front half of the hedge.
It won't start growing for at least a few more weeks.

Lawn mowing will begin soon too. Yard work is good exercise and it gets you outside.

I love the thought of having a garden but I hate the thought of having to maintain it

Maybe start with one garden container pot? With the size of your preference.

You can start with a low maintenance plant.

Well, I made it to the gym last night. (Yay, me! :) )

Let’s see how today goes.

I promised my pups that I’d take them to the park.

Oh yeah that's a good idea. I do have a yukka plant and a snake plant but they look after themselves more or less

Same here. I got caught in a downpour, but it was kind of fun because I was walking on the beach. It was pretty.

Pups and I walked a hilly trail yesterday.

The wildflowers are beginning to bloom. Sweet little purple, yellow, and white flowers.

Walking the beach…that is fun in rain or sunshine.

I’m imagining listening to the ocean waves and seagulls while spotting sea shells and sandpiper tracks.
