Isaac Newton once said that, while he had a gift for resolving issues in nature, he struggled to understand people, and I find myself in the same boat. Here's an example of the many things herd-humans do which baffle me:
At the supermarket, say, I'd need to visit the toilet, and would usually find some cubicles with open doors, and I'd usually go to use the first that was clean and had paper. As often as not, someone else would come in, then, instead of going to a cubicle that was obviously vacant, they almost always come up to my cubicle first, and try to open the door!
Apart from being puzzling, it's also annoying: OK "'tis not a place to sit and wonder..." but what kind of a life is it when one can't enjoy a quiet, contemplative crap, undisturbed?
