Can eating a lot of fast food, sweets, drinking coca cola instead of water cause sleepiness and sleeping over a dozen hours in a day?

I'd be more worried about diabetes as a symptom of that diet.

I'm not a Doctor but in my humble opinion it sounds like that could be a possible side effect of eathing those types of foods. Maybe the sugar ends up spiking and then a kind of crash comes after. I do alot of the same things. Mostly drink 12 oz cans of soda (usually at least 1 a day) and then eat fast food maybe a couple times a week. I feel like for those on the autism spectrum it can be difficult to eat healthy because we like certain textures and flavors. It's not impossible to eat healthy but can be a challenge. I hear it can be beneficial to see a nutritionist. I thought of doing that myself.
