Hi All,

After posting my last video game compilation I decided to post a thread where you can post any interesting video game videos. It can be about any system or any game. Compilation videos, interesting documentaries, any video that you find interesting on video games. I came across a neat "Making of NHL 94" documentary that I thought was neat.

It's amazing how much of a community still exists for NHL 94 and 95.

I think that's cool too! I was trying to think real hard if I had NHL 94 and think I had 95 or 96 for Genesis. I wish I did have NHL 94 because it looks really fun!

They're all quite similar, from NHL Hockey ('92) through NHL 98 (not including the 3D versions).

Personally I prefer the feel and look of 95 over the other versions.

I'd really like to replace the music in the later versions with the music from 95. That's one of my goals for my next ROM hack. Sadly it isn't possible to hack together a version of 95 with fighting enabled, so I'd probably use 96 or 97 as the base.

That sounds like a really cool project! I might have to see about getting a Genesis emulator.

I thought this was pretty neat. It has one ad unrelated to gaming at the end of the video just for disclaimer.

Here's a favorite of mine from Tactical Bacon Productions
To summarize: Rockstar used to be on top of the world at one point. In 2011, everything changed when they released GTA V. After that, they got lazy. Releases began to go down and stagnate as a result. This is what happens when a company makes a money printer and increasingly rely on it. GTA VI is still far away meanwhile GTA V has been rereleased again and again (same with Bethesda and Skyrim).
On a personal note: There's only so much I can take from more of the same before I personally start craving for something new and others feel the same way. Just recently, Rockstar released GTA V again. This time it's an Enhanced edition on Steam and based on the reviews, it's not good. You can't take a game that's been rereleased to death and improve one step forward and remove some things to where it's two steps back then call it "Enhanced". You want to see a game that's really enhanced? Try Borderlands GOTY Enhanced. It gives the old game some quality of life features seen in sequels including automatic money collection, a mini-map, and golden key chests with Shift Codes released every two weeks for keys to open them.
