Nice to get something back from the council after all those years of paying rates. But I think the mayor should clean his gutters.

I've spent the whole afternoon hyperfocused on a totally useless but fun project and I've made a lot of progress. I'm hoping to spend most of the evening on it as well.

I've been watching a lot of old Coronation Street episodes from the early 1970s, and it's strange to hear characters like Albert Tatlock and Minnie Caldwell talking about collecting their pensions from the Post Office every week (it was probably good for their health if you think about it).
