Full grocery bags and full potting soil bags make great free weights. :)

 No garden at current abode, and the landlords are so damn strict that we'd be lucky to get away with a small potted plant outside without getting a reprimand. So not many free weights for me till we've moved. I can hardly "weight" to move. See what I did there?

AirBnBs are popular these days. He probably connects well with people. Beanies are so approachable. ;)

That's what I thought! Beanies and suspenders. I'm gonna keep at it.

As for exercise, I went swimming yesterday. Today, I did another 1.2mi/1.6km/20mins walk in the morning. I am feeling it, but I know it's the process to getting healthier and more athletic. The wisest woman I knew said something about, "If you're trying to get to the flowers on the other side of the forest, don't stop in the forest. Look for the flowers." I'm way off with the exact quote, but that was the message. Little did she know that the forest sounds kind of nice: shade, quieter, cooler, cover/protection. But I also like flowers, so maybe I'll chill in the treeline :ninja: and see why everyone is all about these flower fields.

Same! I like the forests and the fields too! Take time to see all of the treasures of the woods and stop to admire the flowers. There are so many mushrooms, birds and critters as well. That’s my Heaven on Earth. :)

Haha! Well, you’re the winner for the day! It’s the + that gives you the edge. ;)

Seriously, that’s awesome!

Haha! Yes, I see what you did there.

You don’t need free weights. Stretchy resistance bands work well in small spaces.

Or you can just relax and read a good book. Which sounds nice too. ;) Another type of exercise for the mind.

I'll think about that.

I read aloud, so it exercises my jaws too - it seems my brain refuses to do anything that doesn't kill 2 birds with one stone. Hence the appeal of carrying compost.

After a week of being sick, finally got back into working out.

Pretty normal class today - jumping jacks, leg stretches, various stances punches and kicks, some partner drills to help develop power from a short distance, and some praying mantis techniques. Mantis techniques are tricky, but cool to learn.

I went for a walk and got caught outside after dark because I wasn't aware of how quickly it was getting dark. I"m glad I made it back safe.

I’m glad that you are feeling better.

I need to get back to the gym tomorrow too.

Be careful. I used to walk the neighborhood late at night when I couldn’t sleep but I don’t do that anymore. I got lost for a bit one night and didn’t arrive home until the morning. Just wandered too far, winding down too many streets lost in my own thoughts. That’s why I go to the gym now.

Having some back pain, but still going to classes. As long as I'm careful to not do too much, working out helps me with my back problems.

I also got my second advancement certificate yesterday, so that was cool.

Definitely be careful taking walks at night.
