Yes it can make you ill if it goes on too long. Which isn't what you want to dwell on if you can't think of a way of reducing your stress.

Stress absolutely can cause physical pain. It’s not just mental or emotional, it can show up in the body too, like headaches, back pain, or even stomach issues. It’s like the body reacting to that tension, and when it builds up, it can seriously mess with your health.

I get headaches, lower back pain, my side can really hurt & my stomach can hurt too. I wish I can handle stuff. There are ALOT of stuff I can't handle being an Autism.

Yes. Or if it doesn't cause pain, it certainly contributes to it.

I blame stress for making my headaches and joint paint worse.

yes! 100% Emotions live in the same place as physical pain - limbic brain.
