I tried some disposable ones today, to see if it's a good solution, before I spend more money on a reusable one. And I think it could be a good solution since tampons seem to make my cramps worse, period cups use suction and idk I am just sort of uncomfortable with that and the one time I tried one I didn't really like it. So I've been mostly using pads, and those suck cause they feel kind of like small diapers.

But yeah idk if period discs are new or if I've just never heard of it before. But yeah it like sits under the uterus in your vagina and then you take it out and dump it. I have found the inserting easy and it does seem to keep it all contained. That said I think the taking it back out has a learning curve, because for my first one I spilled all over the bathroom floor and it was kind of gross so I recommend doing it over a toilet or in the shower/tub till you figure out how to get it out without spilling it.

sorry if some of that is TMI (too much information) but I just wanted to be honest of my experience. Basically though if you don't like tampons and are sick of the halfway diapers that pads are a menstrual disc may be a good solution. Cause yeah when I put it in I can't feel it and its nice not to have an uncomfortable pad or tampon even if its a bit trickier learning curve to remove than a tampon or pad.

Sure I used a Diva disc ever since it came out. I like it and it's quite comfortable. But spilling is expected for discs. I'd do it over the toilet only.

I still use tampons for night time. Just feel a bit more secure.
