I bought new headphones, Sony XM5, they work GREAT! They block a little noise if you not listening to music or watching tv online. For over a year, I been having trouble in one ear, I have ear medicine. My ear is more than good now, I can hear way more, now I been having more sensory issues. Anyway, how can I be more careful with my headphones since it cost over $300? It came with a case, I been puting it in it case, I don't know if I will forget one day, I already dropped it once.

I bought a rather expensive set of headphones once. They sounded great.

And then the plastic cracked and broke and they wouldn't stay on my head any more.

Any set of headphones I buy from now on will be something that doesn't cost so much.

Eell for what its worth...? Lost my second pair of Bose Noise canceling earbuds . But good news.. A thorough house cleaning . Showed up the 1st pair again. :jester: .. Like the early set better anyhow. They work fairly well.
Less obvious in public and they seriously help. But they do not seem better than the used Sony headphones Noise canceling., that I got second hand.

I've lost several pairs of headphones. It's upsetting. Perhaps consider placing them in the same location every time you take them off. That way, you'll be less likely to accidentally leave them somewhere and forget.

I leave my headphones plugged into my computer & when I take them off I rest them on a keyboard shelf on my computer-stand. I accidentally knocked my headphones off the shelf onto the floor a bit over the last few years because the armrest on my computer desk chair can bump the cord. I try to be carefull when getting out of my chair but I slip up sometimes. My headphones cushioning around the ears is comming off & there's barely any left now. Also the sound can cut out on the right side depending on if I pull/stretch the cord. I plan to get a new chair as well because the cushioning has worn out & it's having various other issues. Perhaps I'll get a chair where the armrests stick out less so I won't knock my headphones off as much.

These posts pretty well sum up my view of headphones, particularly to lock out sounds onn trains...I have lost both cheap and expensive 'phones. I have some reasonably good ones I ONLY use at home (I left them at a cafe in Tate modern)

For benefit of non UK readers, "if you see something that doesn't look right, speak to staff (who don't exists) or text 61016. See it say it sorted".
