When you said “shout-out,” I thought about guns and old westerns. I’m almost certain that that’s not what you were referring to.

No, in hockey a shoot-out is when teams take alternating penalty shots to resolve a tie game.

Last night of the regular season. We won the game and finished first for season's standings.
Now come playoffs.

We won tonight. Captain Steve got in a fight because someone crosschecked him into the boards from behind.

Because we won, that forced an extra period to settle who won the series (we lost game 1 of 2, but won the second game that was tonight), we won that too.

This means we're in the A finals instead of the B finals.

Remothered: Broken Porcelain. A flawed but good survival horror video game that reminded me of the Clocktower games or Haunting Ground.

Assuming we're not counting multiplayer shooters, I just beat Terraria with my little brother (who is much better than me at it) with a mage build.

Touhou 7 Imperishable Night for easy difficulty.
it's actually my favorite game to play on midnight. it was nostalgic feel to it and seeing ending scene was satisfying.

Ball hockey.

I'm pretty aggressive with forechecking and managed to get possession, got an assist on the game-winning goal.

I got a lot of shots and they were accurate but terribly slow — it's not a problem I tend to have when practicing on my own, and in warm-ups my one-timers are pretty hit-and-miss but when I take my time I'm more likely to struggle with accuracy than power.

A couple years ago someone wanted to play Scrabble with me on their big electronic device.
Great, I didn't have to keep score. It did it automatically. I played a bingo early in the game for an extra 50 points! This may be of interest for those with great vocabularities that don't do math.
Then I played lots and lots of short words to close out the game!

I raced out in front and didn't give him any opportunity to pass me. :D

That sounds like my race at Riverside. My car was really fast through sector one but kinda slow through sectors 2 and 3.

If I got bottled up after things got going I wouldn't be able to use the line I liked for sector 1 (because someone would always cross it, >20 km/h slower than me), meaning I'd just steadily fall behind.

But, I was able to hold a lead for the first few laps, timed my pit stops well to avoid lapped traffic and finished in the lead.

rFactor - 500 km race at Talladega. Spun on lap 5, ended up in 39th place. By first pit stop I was ~18 seconds behind, but my car was really quick in clean air so after the pack had broken up a bit I was able to just keep putting in consistent laps and avoid getting caught up in other drivers problems. I took the lead on lap 101, stopped for a splash of fuel a lap later, avoided a near miss at 315 km/h a few laps later and managed to take the checkers on lap 117.

500 km in 1°34'43" gives an average time of 316.73 km/h.
That includes nearly a minute of sitting at a dead stop while getting fuel and fresh tires (as well as going down pitroad at 85 km/h).

I beat Star Wars: Dark Forces a little while ago.
Oh, and LEGO City Undercover 100% on the WiiU.
...probably some other games too, but it's been a while since I posted last...

rFactor; won at Road America after 47 laps of beatin' and bangin'. There was a lead peloton of about 6 cars up until the safety car came out around lap 31. Only one of the lead cars followed me into the pits during the first caution lap, he beat me out of the pits, then everyone else came in and we moved up the grid. During the last stint it was myself, the Manitoba Cigarettes Corolla that pitted with me and a few cars that had been running mid pack until the pit stops all fighting for the lead. Lots of lead changes and a fair bit of the chrome horn (even though bumpers aren't chrome anymore).

Honda, Renault and Chevrolet finished on the podium.

Ball hockey; game was tied at three a piece, we won in a shootout. Weirdly my Achilles tendon felt better as the game went on. Now it's just my left ankle that hurts and it always hurts anyways.
