My upcoming period is currently teasing me. It's a couple days late, and I keep feeling cramps and a feeling that sonething is leaking, yet there is nothing there!

I wonder why a lot of women have twins and triplets when they have IVF

Due to the high cost of IVF, multiple embryos are transferred at the same time.
This isn't as necessary now that testing of embryos has improved.
Tech is constantly improving when there is big money to be made.

Unfortuntely in some states it's considered murder by abortion if some of the embryos aren't transferred successfully.

There's a whole controversy about what to do with frozen embryos that the family no longer needs. Maybe they've had a successful pregnancy or pregnancies and don't want more. Maybe they gave up because it's too expensive to keep trying. Maybe they got divorced or died. It costs tens of thousands of dollars to store the frozen ones according to standards and yet it's now illegal in some states for the company or the parents to dispose of them with informed consent.

I can't keep up with this perimenopause caper

For the last 3 months my period has been really late and that's never been heard of before with me and now it's just came about at least a week early

I'm thinking that maybe this egg is making up time for all the late ones

I wonder why the gusset on women's knickers has like a little pocket in it

This is a question I've been meaning to ask for about the last 40 years or so

Why can't my 'natural body chemistry' metabolize meds and other substances in ways of how it is intended to?

Do I really need elevated levels of estrogen for this?
Do I actually need some progesterone to even it out?

Why do I even need these things at all just so coffee wakes me up instead of making me feel heavier and more tired?

Why do I need these things so some painkillers would work?

Why do I need these things to make melatonin something useful than flat out useless?

What else is my body metabolizing it wrong?
Most supplements I've saved up are still useless.
And that my body 'adjusting' is not good news to me; since my 'natural body chemistry' sucks.

Or maybe I should switch the brand and continue to find what works like usual.
Except I wouldn't know if it's effectiveness is dependent on BCPs or not.

I've gave up worrying about my period now it'll come when it comes and if it doesn't then it doesn't

If this menopause goes on for years I'm not gonna waste that time worrying about it

I've got more interesting things to focus on

Had my first mammogram the other day. A little earlier age than average, but with a history of breast cancer on both sides of my family, I have to be very careful with anything at all that concerns me. (Everything is fine, BTW!)

OMG, that was ouchy. I felt if my boobs could pop like a balloon, they definitely would have. xD

As soon as I'm done with my period, I'm taking another cycle or two of BCPs.
See if I'll get the same effects as I had when I had it first.

Taking it continuously would make my body 'adjust' with my naturally but unfavorably effects.

Taking it as it meant to be can be the same, too.

Should I take them 1 cycle on, 1 cycle off?
2 cycles on, 2 cycles off?
1 cycle on, 3 cycles off? :x 3 cycles on, 3 cycles off?

Why does it had to be complicated?
Because, my fricking body is.

Why not ask a doctor?
Because I don't know how to persuade them enough not to mistake it as "anxiety".

Why mistaken for anxiety?
Probably because I'm too fricking pissed and tired to bother 'eloquency' whenever discussing fricking symptoms. :x Makes me wanna wish (again) that I'm a pseudo-stoic alexithymic with flat affect.

Just out politeness really
