No one from my little groupie thingie is posting any longer.
There's only so much one can do with one's self... :(

Sarcasm...one of the most hurtful uses of words.

I was not being sarcastic, Graelwyn. The mild sarcasm in that remark if you choose to classify it so was hopefully less hurtful than your apparently indifferent "whatever." Alaric had better join Irial if her erstwhile companions are inactive. Sorry if I come across as angry in this letter, Graelwyn; I greatly respect you and hope that you were not overly hurt by the opening remark in the previous letter, nor by anything in this one. I hope that you are well. Sorry if the current lack of activity in Gandesha (or rather the paucity of participation; I would hardly call recent events there lacking in activity) seemed to you as though the world of Fantasy Lands where the city of Gandesha is located had died a death. It may come to that of course; it has already seemed close to it quite a few times.

Yeah, it does seem rather dead. Pity, it was off to a good start.

It's OK, I'd never really done a Roleplay before and I didn't really know what I was doing. Therefore, for all I know I killed it. :( It did seem to be striving till I joined.

If so, sorry about that.

It's a shame too, been looking for a creative outlet.

Anywho, everyone make nice :)

Don't worry, Irial, Dibble and Tom can do plenty of things together.

Oh no, it's not your fault at all. It's been kind of going downhill for awhile, I'm afraid. There's another new RP thread though, which looks interesting (if the offer of it being private isn't taken, that is).

Actually, Gandesha seems to have revived quite a bit now that some of the posters who had been silent for a time are contributing again, e.g. Anubis with the enigmatic Sindri. Keezzstar has been contributing quite a bit with Tom and Dibble (wasn't it originally Dimble?) as has cellogril with Irial Faith. Graelwyn's Myrrhdyn, Quatermass (as his namesake) and myself were continuing fairly steadily for some time. And Anser, your character has provided some much needed impetus. Is your username Latin for goose, out of curiosity? Retger/Grilor is a welcome companion. You/he will be sorely needed when the Time comes...

By the way, LadyCass, what is happening with your character and her interaction with Garnet? That was looking promising. What was your second character (after Rain) called again?

Nah, it was always Dibble the Clown-Faced Monkey (or brat....whatever....)

I kinda want to do a conflict of interest thing with Tom/Ethotoms (don't ask where I got the name from, I figured he needed a name for his true form)

I did notice that it was reviving again, actually. As for my own character, I'm waiting for Yotsuba (Garnet) to post again. She takes awhile, but that's quite all right. I don't want to powerplay, and it doesn't give me an information overload. :) Oh, and her name is Nyx. Rain may as well have never existed.

I was tired of Irial having to duck and hide every time something magical happened, so I gave her a power known as Elementalism. It has nothing to do with the four main elements, intstead it draws upon the dormant energy stored in things that have already happened, such as thunderstorms and battles. There is only one Elemental alive at any one time, (yes, they are mortal) but when the one Elemental dies, the soul leaves the body and enters the next Elemental. So therefore, the world is never without an Elemental, though generations may pass without a single one discovering their powers, as they only are needed in times of crisis.

As for what they do:
Elementals do not use spells, their powers are limited only by their experiences and their imagination. For instance, Irial may be able to move an airship instataneously to another, far away, place, but it has to be somewhere she has been. They cannot change events, nor can they change opinons or thoughts of another. Everything they tamper with has to exist, she cannot create a parallel universe or a cup. She can change the laws of physics, as they are part of the energy she uses to control things. That is how Irial is able to easily leap from tree to ship, she momentarily changes the level of gravity keeping her body to the earth.

I hope this doesn't mess things up too much!

Ah yes, Nyx... From the Greek for "night," right, LadyCass? I meant they had revived given a number of people have recommenced posting; others had been continuing, and things certainly had not died out.

Graelwyn, do you intend to resume posting in the Gandeshan role play? I think things are coming to life again (if they had "died a death") and would appreciate your continued contribution. If you do not wish to, what do you want to happen about Myrrdyn? Have Quatermass safely seal her away in some sort of haven out of normal time as he has suggested? (If I failed to use terms satisfactory to the pseudo-scientific ones that Graelwyn had a mild - and quietly amused - dig at us both for indulging in, Quatermass, sue me)

What is the new roleplay that LadyCass referred to like, can anyone tell me? I will probably not be able to handle two such things simultaneously, but I might be interested.

Yes. (Did you look that up or just remember it? I admit, if you didn't look it up, I'm impressed. Names are very interesting.) Nyx was also the daughter of Chaos and a goddess of the Night.

The other one is called The House. If you go out to the Roleplaying, Quizzes, ect, ect, board, it's a sticky.

The only way I can continue this is if someone summarises what has happened, as no offence, but with my focus issues, I cannot read some of the really detailed and long posts being posted there. Some post a load in a row and that just confuses me and puts me off.

That's what made me quit out of it in the first place. Too many people posting a lot of information I have to absorb.

He's still standing there, isn't he? Couldn't someone have a fight on that roof and then blow up to roof taking Koise with it?

I remembered it, but this is not that impressive. Yes, I remember something of the genealogy in the Greek myths. Isn't Nyx also included in at least some versions of the genealogies of some of the other Greek deities? I have a feeling her offspring variously include Hypnos (sleep) Thanatos (death - hence Quater's gunblade) Hemera (Day) Aether - though I am not sure of the relation here - and Erebos (the darkness surrounding Hades) as well as sometimes the Fates. Thank you for your information about the new roleplay. I still think the Gandeshan one has quite a bit of potential left, and it might be a good idea for me to not participate actively in both role playing games simultaneously, still I might take a look. Thank you.

Ok...right....I can see that I cannot return to the Gandesha Rp judging from the situation, so I do wish my character to be killed off. If someone else does not do this, then I will.
