Thanks for the information Kitlily. In regards to you being very excitable, I like seeing people enjoy themselves, so long as there is no excited hugging, which I am definitely not a fan of. :D

Babybird, I think you might need glasses, or a stronger prescription. :D

I don't get why humans are supposed to be social by nature and yet humans will be as antisocial as you can get when around other humans who are different.

I guess it's like when I bought an ant farm when I was a teenager a billion years ago, and had to go catch the ants myself, and the manual said never to mix ants from different colonies or they'll fight to the death. And humans are not as smart as insects. :duh:

A lot of singers REALLY overuse vocal fry as a cheap way of gettin' that gritty, raw emotion appeal. Like, every line has this scraping catch in it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vocal_fry_register

It's used when speak in a creaky voice, it's also used for 'fry screaming' in some genres with harsh vocals.

Marilyn Manson uses a lot of vocal fry. The wah-wah-wah part is a good example.

I don't get why we choose to go on living when the world has gotten so horrible.

I don't get when I see outrage over some kids show because there's a short conversation about periods. I could understand the protest if it was show aimed at very young children, but I see this when a show is aimed at preteens. A first period can occur anywhere from as early as eight to as late as fourteen. How dare the average age group to have a period find out about periods? :?

I guess some parents like their kids living in ignorance of having a genuine explanation for such occurrences, or that they want to give their own explanation without a third party explaining things in their place as a perceived authority.

Speaking as a nerd, I don't get why all these people are still watching something they hate so much. It seems to be a thing, to pour your time and money into TV episodes and films you have already decided will be awful solely so you can performatively hate them from a position of authority. If I despise the direction a series is going in that much, I just stop watching.

I don't get how a leader can care so little about the citizens of his country.

I don't get white people don't just hand over their white privilege and become second class citizens like the media says we deserve.

I don't get why everything still has to be so gendered this day and age.

You can't just hand over something that's intangible. All you can do is chip away at institutional problems until they cease to be measurable.
