I grew up on Mario.

I agree, Mario games are awesome! My favorite video games of all time have to be:

1. Super Mario World
2. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
3. Yoshi's Story
4. Pikmin and Pikmin 2
5. Pokemon Yellow
6. Yoshi Topsy Turvy
7. Dragonball Z Budokai 2 and Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi

I'm looking forward to Yoshi's Island DS, Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2, Pokemon Ranger, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team, Super Mario Galaxy, all of the new Mario games coming out, Elebits, and a Pikmin 3 or a Pikmin DS game if Nintendo makes one.

I am an old-schooler when it comes to Mario.

I had SMB 1, SMB 2, SMB 3 (all NES), Super Mario World (SNES), and Super Mario Kart (also SNES). I lost interest when Wario replaced Bowser/King Koopa as Mario's archnemesis. Plus I was 13 years old and started becoming interested in women.

I have played the original Mario Bros. (which came out back in 1983). It is boring, and only bridged the gap between Donkey Kong and the SMB series.

I'm more of a crash bandicoot and spyro person though their newer games are crap compared to the PS1 games so...until better games come out...i'll hold off.

Have any of you tried Super Princess Peach for DS?

It is a side-scrolling aciton game, except this time the princess has to rescue Mario. It is a lot of fun. :P

I've been addicted to Mario since I was 3 years old!

Weird, isn't it?

And I'm still playing the franchise as of now.

Currently I've been playing Mario Hoops 3 on 3 for the DS, and I got all characters including the 5 Final Fantasy characters, 5 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze trophies in Tourney mode, got the best times in all three dribble race levels, and 14 out of 18 different basketballs.

And I've been playing Mario Superstar Baseball a lot. My best Exhibition game score was 104-4 on Strong difficulty (Hard), I made 999 coins (Max) in Toy Field 4 times, 9274 points in Bob-omb Derby with Hammer Bro, 9999 Coins (Max) in Wall Ball with Magikoopa, 79 gems in Chain Chomp Sprint with Birdo, 201 points in Piranha Panic with Toadette, 9999 points (Max) in Barrel Batter with Magikoopa, 301 coins in Star Dash with Hammer Bro, and 7405 star points in Mario Grand Prix with King Boo.
