We'll just take that as a wonderful compliment for the books. ;)

Oh please. Even if they did suck (and they don't ) they wouldn't "ruin" the books. What is with you anyhow? It seems everything I see you post is negative and sour. I think you need to chill big time, and try to have a little more fun in your life when you can. If you let your dislike of the movies affect your enjoyment of the books, you only have yourself to blame.

My score:

9 3/4", Oak, Phoenix
You scored 47 wisdom, 38 bravery, 0 emotional, and 27 martyrdom!
Oak signifies wisdom, endurance, protection, and authority. The phoenix tail feather as your core means that you have the capability to be an extremely powerful wizard or witch and that you will defend those you love at all costs.

My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 61% on wisdom

You scored higher than 60% on bravery

You scored higher than 0% on emotional

You scored higher than 81% on martyrdom

Hmm, interesting, I have no emotions! LOL.

So what does length signify? Dare I ask? :P I think I have the shortest wand around here....

It means you can hide your wand more easily. ;) And look at this website:

http://www.alivans.com/web/default.asp?pageid=6914

I like this particular wand:

http://www.alivans.com/custom/cart/edit0.asp?p=89421

You can even enter to win a wand of your choice. I've already entered. :D Fantasy aside, I think it would make a smashing stim toy, since sometimes I like to do the conductor thingy as a music stim...

Hmm. OK. So it's for stealth magic? Or to be more inconspicuous?

A conducter's baton might be cheaper, but less interesting.

I must admit that I have a wand. It was a present from my mum. She got it from http://www.whimsicalley.com. I am such a Potter nerd!

I don't think my particular wand is for sale now, but you can see a picture of it at http://www.whimsicalley.com/lumosmap.htm. It's the third from the bottom, and it's called 'Miscranger'.

9", Willow, Dragon
You scored 26 wisdom, 33 bravery, 31 emotional, and 22 martyrdom!
A willow wand signifies that you care deeply about emotions, art, and intuition, and that you have a particular knack for charms. Your dragon's heartstring core makes your wand very effective in hexes.

11 2/3", Oak, Veela

You scored 57 wisdom, 22 bravery, 10 emotional, and 22 martyrdom!

Oak signifies wisdom, endurance, protection, and authority. The veela hair as a wand core means that you are slightly unpredictable but very powerful.

My husband got a real wand for our daughter from Salem, Massachusetts. I think it is rosewood.
