The landscape is beautiful up there, but I was told that going to regional parks (I don't know if there is a system in Norway similar to the National Park system here in the US) is not common. Either that, or the people I visited just didn't want to do any nature-based stuff. I was also told that the people in North Norway were more vulgar, compared to the rest of the country... :roll: :lol:

Synd du ikke var lenger sør, jeg reiste med noen oppover I landet helt til midt-området og fikk sett mange imponerende ting, men dessverre fikk jeg ikke tatt bilder, men jeg bor jo ganske langt sør, ikke langt unna Oslo, bare noen timer vekk, for i sør er det mye fjell og variasjon, ulikt langt nord, hvor det blir mer flatt og begynner å ligne på søta bror, og det er riktig at folk fra Nord-Norge er frekke, de liker å bruke ordet "hæstkok"= "Horsec*ck" til fremmede, han derre aspergeren som jeg misliker er fra Nord-Norge, jeg og en annen jeg kjenner med asperger truet ham pga hans frekke oppførsel, du vet jo dette allerede, det er latterlig at de fra Nord-Norge kalles, "Gjestfrie", det er det motsatte, så neste gang du besøker Norge, besøk alt fra midten og ned, og du vil bli mye mer fornøyd :D

Hmm, jeg har mange bilder som ble tatt da jeg var på besøk i Norge, men ikke så mange bilder av naturen.

Oddly enough, when my friend in Tromsø was trying to explain the vulgarity of North Norway to me, he also used the horsec*ck example! :?

sorry I couldnt resist...


actually, the swedish border of today has been pushed "inlands" towards norway, the landscape differences were a lot more obvious before the 1600s :(
when nearly ALL the scandinavian mountain range was within norway, and "sweden proper" (excluding finnish and lappish conquests) was almost entirely the lowlands of "svealand" and "götaland"

I dont know all places as it was long time ago but I rememer Oslo and Kongsvinger, I think I have been to Moss and maybe Bergen, for that I have to ask my dad lol.
