I am never spontaineous, left to my own devices i either do the same things over and over again or i decide to change things, which is not spontaneous because i have worked it, alternatives and the pros and cons out before hand.
Living with a spontaneous person however has forced me to become more flexiable then i used to be. i used to answer no to anything that i hadn't planned on before hand. Now i go along with her and its usually allright. Still doing this, leaving my norm and my comforting routine can be tiring and stressful. And that's the price i pay for spontenaity.

I absolutely hate spontaneity, I can't stand it, it chokes me, I'll start to panic, I need to be prepared. I laugh at people who expect me to do things on the spur of the moment without planning them first. I need to plan things out!!

Surely even planning ought to be for all of it's advantages, and not for it's own sake nor beyond whatever point of diminishing returns. There will always be the need to respond to the unforeseen. It is only the ignoring of the readily foreseeable that is repugnant in the needless danger.
