Why the assumption? I just think that most racial issues can be redefined as cultural issues. Also biologically it has been proven that people are pretty much all the same. I think the concept of races in humans is nonsense, it also has changed throughout history.


Race and culture are linked. Also, just because a concept has changed throughout history doesn't mean it's nonsense.

Non of the above.

I have white skin and a purely English family tree stretching back almost a thousand years to the norman conquest of 1066.

But a DNA test reveals I have genetic markers in common with

Vikings
Mongols
Ashenzai Jews
Indian Brahmins

And when I grow a beard it has a bit if ginger in it from somewhere.

The concept of race doesn't really hold up to close examination of people's genomes.

Sadly lots of evidence for reality never has an effect on hardened personal delusions.

Take creationists or holocaust deniers as an example, they simply ignore anything that disagrees with their pre existing belief. :roll:

With the price of sequencing DNA falling very rapidly, hopefully more sane people will understand just how mixed up we all are at a genetic level. There are already quite a few places where you can have an ancestry DNA test done over the internet for $99-$199
