Title: Weeds on a Lake Shore

like weeds on a lake shore
bending and swaying with
each breath of the wind, I am

a dark,
distorted image
the past reflected back
at me

like the endless wind
traveling and seeking from
shore to distant shore, I am

a grain,
a seed looking for
new fresh grounds to
root again

Title: Lessons in Life

Frustration is ...

learning to walk
without moving forth,

Being a friend
to all those
who have been
an enemy,

Striving for
independence
when life itself
contradicts all talents
given to you at birth

Then, I sit and think ...

Is the lesson of
learning to walk
only for the sake
of elevating the very
Art of Motion?

Is friendship
and independence
lessons of the
same principle?

Am I too eager
to put in practice
Arts that I
have not yet
fully mastered?

FAREWELL COLUMBIA

(a tribute to the February 1, 2003, space shuttle tragedy)

Three as One
Hindu, Christian, Jew
United
For Sixteen Days
Around the Earth They Flew

Seven as One
The Brave Shuttle Crew
Together
Sealed in Space
Pulling the Mission Through

Hundreds as One
Family
And Friends They Knew
Eager Loving Hearts
As the Landing Hour Drew

Billions as One
Watched
In Terror so True
A Blazing Fireball
Exploding
Against the Clear Blue

O obsolete appliance, disowned child of times long past
apt to tell of long lost way of life if only you'd been asked
in the 80s you were cutting edge, with casing hard and gray
far removed from stylish packaging that we might see today
your capacitors are oversized; you have no IC chips
you're too large to put in travelers bags that one might take on trips
from your dusty shelves in thrift stores you have seen the years go by
no one knows just how to use you, but you always catch my eye
why have you been cast upon this world with no purpose?
such a short amount of time for you to shine, and then you're worthless
o forsaken old appliance, so ignored and so alone
for your undefined remaining time this store will be your home
and through these forlorn, aimless times, if limbo is your fear
know that though the others walk right past you, i still know you're here

I'll make some images too.

Beauty divine
You are the sign
To the lost soul of mine
How can my heart decline
Your sweet ruby red glass of wine?
Fermented from the luscious emerald vine
I am lured by your songs, by each of their line
For you I pine
Your sparking eyes so fine
As complete and replete as the number nine
With the dancers angelic and artists poetic you dine
Your silky hair and marble white fingers seraphs refine
And humble earthlings in their hearts enshrine
Your images of peace and transcendence, like jewels they shine!
So towards us please recline
Your graceful neck and willowy spine
We long to behold the presence of thine!

After encountering beauty through Star's and maldoror's works, my heart filled with inspiration and longing for beauty and came up with this poem... Surely, beauty is residing with you artistic poets...:)

yes that's the spirit, nice poems!
we'd need some illustrations now

in fact i meant to illustrate the poems with several people together, but that seems a little too complicated ( i thought someone does a background ,some people make drawings of persons, animals, objects, and someone puts this all together) we'll see, maybe i need to be a bit patient

That sounds like a great idea...although it is complicated it would be nice if we can do it...I'm supposing that we would have to co-illustrate through the internet since we can't get together....(by the way lemon, I like your signature...it's brilliant!)

Thank you so much Star...your comment made me happy...it was like fresh oxygen...:)

yeah, it would be nice, anyway we have lot's of time to make it work...

yes like posting here a few sketches and if we'd really want to work on higher dpi-drawings create a special e-mailadress for it that we can share

(by the way lemon, I like your signature...it's brilliant!)

well to be honest, it's my daughter who invented it, i'm not a word-artist
