They are all very beautiful! I liked the black and white photo of a boy looking out of the window...for some reason it calmed and soothed my heart... :)

Hehe, now that was interesting. I had not planned it. I was in a tour group at a wonderful tudor house before it was closed for renovation until 2008 and this little boy was with his fairly old mother, and the pair of them, I swear, looked as if they could have stepped out of the tudor period themselves. They just had those sort of timeless faces. I just turned, saw him there and decided to shoot it. I love this one too, along with the other one from the same place of the group stood in a circle.

They're so beautiful. I don't think you give yourself enough credit, Gracelyn.

I like black and white photography a lot. It puts the emphasis on the subjects/shapes in the photographs without the distraction of the colour.

I'm a Photographer also. I have an extensive background in conventional, non-digital work, with a lot of darkroom experience, especially with color printing. In recent years, I learned how to use Photoshop, and I like making radical versions of my photos using this medium; though I start out using some rather old Hasselblad Medium Format Cameras, using color slide film that I process myself. You can see a lot of my results in my The Jonathan White Galleries.

When it comes to Photography, I tend to like all sorts whether it be B & W or Color, Wildlife & Nature or digital pics as, I think photos of various genres represent people in many ways atleast that is my opinion.

Hey, Graelwyn, I was browsing the internet and came across this image by chance, which reminded me of you...so I'm posting it here...though it's off-topic...It's called 'A Painting Girl.'

Image

It's by an artist named Hans Stoffels. I like the way he depicted the girl's right foot...

Haha, that is lovely...thanks, I shall save that as it reminds me of myself when I was younger too. :)

Thankyou... I am hoping to get back to it when Summer comes. I seem to have temporarily lost my inspiration, but I am making sure I keep the camera this time as I have a bad habit of selling things when I move out of an interest temporarily.
