Ole hyvä as we also say here :). It´s nice to hear that you like Finland, I like to live here too. I live in western finland, you might´ve passed by here while going to Lapland. What sights did you see here besides the midnight sun? Funny thing, Helmi is a name here too.

We also passed through Tampere if I am spelling the name correctly where the Sibelius Academy of music is located.

In Lapland we went to a reindeer farm and had reindeer meat and that was weird. I am not a meat eater but I was curious to taste it. Can't say I like it. I don't remember the other cities we passed and shortly visited.

I will have to look them up in my diary from back then. It was in 1989 when I was in Lapland and 1999 when I was last in Turku. I would love to come and visit again. Just say you will show me around and I'll be there in no time! LOL

By the way, I will show you around in Amsterdam if you like...

I´m not a big fan of reindeer meat either, but it´s more of a specialty than common food here.
