Well, there's nothing you can do but to work.
But let's be realistic, you have no work experience and you have to be exceptionally fluent in English to be accepted as English teacher.
At 38 you will also face agesim in the job market.
It would be easier to work in online customer support, large companies always need new part timers for this, and I am sure there are a lot of big software/solution companies in India.
What does the Hindu law say about a husband not fulfilling his role? Does it give the wife the right of divorce in this case?

For your thyroid, your TSH should be between 1 and 2 mIU/L. TSH is thyroid stimulating hormone. High TSH means your thyroid is struggling to produce T4, and you have hypothyroidism, and low TSH means your thyroid is producing too much T4. and you have hyperthyroidism. TSH is a better indicator of thyroid function than looking at the T4 levels directly, because you could have normal T4 levels with hypothyroidism due to elevated TSH levels, but the fact that the TSH levels are elevated to begin with means your thyroid gland is struggling to produce T4, and you can have symptoms of hypothyroidism. Some doctors will call a TSH level as high as 4 mIU/L or even 5 mIU/L normal, but many people with hypothyroidism have symptoms with their TSH is this high, so don't let them tell you it's fine for it to be that high. Tell them you want it between 1 and 2 mIU/L. If it's not financially burdensome, you should have your TSH tested monthly.
If you have hyperthyroidism, or you fluctuate between hyper and hypothyroidism, as some people do, it may be best to have your thyroid gland destroyed or surgically removed, and to rely on thyroid hormone supplementation such as levothyroxine entirely.
