I drink water, hot chocolate and Orangina.
On the other hand, I do not like coffee and alcohol - beers, wine, or anything. But, and this is weird, I like the atmosphere of wine production caves

I also can't have caffeine, as it has strange effects on me (it makes me nervous and I feel like I can't feel/stop my thoughts, I get a weird distancing/ disorienting effect sometimes, and I get very stupid and goofy, I guess like some people get when they are drunk, then I just sort of crash and feel generally bad). Sugar can also have this effect on me, though I love sweets, so I tend to avoid soda so that I can have cookies or ice cream instead :)

That's pretty much what happens to me. Then I get belligerent and fall asleep. It's a lot like being drunk. It doesn't happen when the sugar is in food, only in liquids because it absorbs too quickly and makes my blood sugar skyrocket.

And I thought I was the only one in the world who couldn't drink anything hot! Coming from the country where everybody drinks hot tea on every occasion (or without one), this was really a problem. "Drink your tea while it's still hot!". :x
Hot mik, though, was the biggest nightmare of my childhood.

I am from Poland, but it seems that hot tea is a worldwide infestation. There are however some places that are still hot tea free. I was once traveling with my sister through New Mexico (US), and we stopped at some roadside diner. She ordered hot tea ("one cannot properly digest a meal without hot tea!"). The waitress was perplexed by that request and said that she had never heard of such a thing. But she was resourceful and offered to microwave some iced tea. We suggested that she asked the chef how to prepare such an unusual drink. Fortunately, chef heard of the recipe. (I swear that this really happened!)

I guess that must be it! I was always amazed how can people pour near-boiling water down their throats. And what motivates them to slurp in the process? I managed to force my family stop slurping in my presence, but couldn't do the same with my boss. :D

I never have and never will drink alcoholic beverages.

The chemical used in diet cola products is called saccharine.

I am sensitive to heat. I also can't drink coffee or tea or hot drinks, unless they've cooled down sufficiently. I always gawk at people who order a cup of chai at the same time I do and start sipping away immediately, while I have to wait atleast 5-10 minutes before I can even think about drinking mine. Since I rarely have caffeine, this is seldom a problem for me, though.

I also can't tolerate showers or water that are too hot, doing the dishes is a bit of a struggle for me, because I can't stand to keep my hands under the hot water, but the suds don't go away if the water is cooler, so I am constantly changing the water temperature. Prolonged exposure to cold water has the same effect on me, and it will even begin to "feel" hot to my hand if it is too cold. Does this happen to anyone else?

I also dislike cooking because I don't want to be near the heat. I've overcome my fear of stovetop cooking, for the most part, but can't yet bring myself to put my hands into the oven.
