I don't think you have "mild AS"....

“Dating” is a milestone that normal people use to compare you to said "normal" people..., "dating" does involve social competency, and if you’ve never “dated” anyone but you would like to...well, that’s pretty bad sign if the only thing that’s stopping you is social ability.

I wouldn't date men though anyway.
How come you don't think I have mild AS? I always thought I did...

I only got 23 on this - I also think my AS is mild. Yet I somehow got 45/50 on the AQ test.

or you exagrated your anserws

I didn't exaggerate my answers. If anything I did the opposite on a couple because I wasn't sure.

don't worry, aspie17 has his new obsession. he believes that all people here don't have a real diagnosis of AS. he posted a topic on it earlier but it had to be locked. :) he was accused there by many people that he doesn't have it and therefore is now trying to convince us that he does. therefore, if somebody exaggerated his answers, it's probably him.

don't worry aspie17, it's quite obvious. don't take it so literally (you see, other proof). the people said it to protect themselves from your attack...

this test is weird :( The "loved one" thing threw me off for a bit and now it is just the wording of the answers to the questions.... I am stuck on #4, if anyone can help....

Take the test as if you were a man. :)

The severity that you have with interacting with people "out there", the amount of social anxiety that you experience and no “friends” out there, et cetera. I mean, apart from the speaking; you're as bad as me really.... I'm "classically autistic" too.

Always Often Sometimes Never

I think it refers to through life (ie: Never in life, at some point in life, throughout their your entire life)

Kim,

Four is asking you if you've had a few, if any, friends "out there" in the real world; ticking "Always" would mean that you've rarely had friends who were also peers throughout your life.

I just took it as male and it didn't make any difference to the score. I guess it was just to provide you with the info about other people your age and sex.
That's interesting though, I always thought my AS was quite mild. I still don't think that test was very good though.

Na...it's not that good, i.e., the first question, I don't look at people...so I'm going to tick "Never", and that's going to affect the score dramatically.

E: If you've never "been" with a person of a sex that you're attracted to; don't worry about what sex it is asking you for in the last question....

This is why online tests suck.... I'm super duper mentally ill if I listen to what they say; I've seen billions of professionals within a psychiatric hospital and none have even looked schizophrenic at me even after I told them I do suffer from audible hallucinations now and again.

Thanks Danielismyname and ExeterChris

I think this test is full of it, when I took it it said I got 16.
I retook it saying changing the have a delay in normal speach, but with all of the other answers the same to see if it affected the anser and my test went up to 32! 8O I do not think one question should have such a huge impact on the test.... or that I am 16 or 32

Also aspergers criteria if I'm not mistaken in the DSM-IV says "no speech dealy". HFA has speech delay as a criteria.

yeah, specially when language delays are prohibiting a diagnosis of AS as defined by the DSM-IV. so was it a test for AS of HFA?

edit: i wrote it without knowing what TheMachine1 was writing probably simultaneously with me :)

No problem :)
