Emeralds are a girl's best friends but we all know that they are a partner's ones too.

Anyway, the cheaper sapphire is more shock, scratch and time resistant, so long as it's not placed into silver.

Olive sapphire in copper? Thy rarity sublime!

Opals of any color! And anything druzy, I love how it makes anything sparkle and adds movement in the light. I really enjoy iridescent things. Opal is also my birthstone.

There is a TV series called "Outback Opal Hunters." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outback_Opal_Hunters

No idea if you can get this series where you are. There have been a few spectacular finds shown.
