What can I do to help my story not come off as antifeminist?

Oh okay, well I liked the idea of a concept of a female serial rapist. So I came up with the concept first, and then decided to work on the motivation for the character second. But now that I am at the motivation stage, readers are saying that a woman would only become that way, if she had a background that would be insulting to feminism, if that's true?

I suppose there hasn't been any case of a female serial rapist in real life perhaps, but it is a fictional concept, and I didn't feel it had to be based on any real historical cases, or does it?

I'd drop that premise unless your goal is to make an exploitation movie.

You can go ahead with the story is you want, but don't be surprised if your book gets bad reviews.

For my memoir, I had one woman tell me that one of my lines showed how much I loved women and another woman tell me that the same line was disgusting and misogynistic.

The question you need to ask yourself is who are you writing for?

Oh well so far I would say that the male readers opinions are more negative than the female ones. Could it be that males are more eager to jump on what is considered misogyny compared to women, in a way, perhaps?
