Claire treats me hypocritically by calling me out and not letting me call her out. It's not fair that it's okay when I get embarrassed but not okay when everybody else gets embarrassed. It's not fair that it's okay when Claire gets revenge on me and not okay when I get revenge on Claire.

Actually, I have reported someone to get revenge before - but she deserved it. A song I kept listening to inspired me to do that, as why should people get away with being mean to me like I'm some sort of pushover? :x

The coronavirus has spread since before Christmas of 2019 and it began in China. Me, Helen and Amy have accents. When I say that Amy has an accent, Claire will just be a weirdo about it and saying that I'm making fun of Amy, but I'm not. Saying that I don't have an accent, I just don't know how to talk is making fun of me.

I know that people behave in funny ways that are quite natural to the behavior of any animal. For instance, in one video there are monkies in a cage and they're both given rocks to use as currency and they get cucumbers in exchange for the rocks. They got used to both being treated fairly and they were in perfect harmony with one-another for a long time. But then one day one of the monkies gets a grape instead of a cucumber and it looks at the person and at the other monkey getting a cucumber and it's like "yo, wtf is this?" and throws the grape at the person. Humans behave in a similar way. Likewise, sharing happens on Thanksgiving when food is plentiful and many people dine in harmony. The next day people are attacking eachother to get good deals on Black Friday because good deals are scarce and not plentiful. Likewise, wild animals do the same stuff. That's just the nature of things.

Furthermore, it's worth noting that emotion makes people irrational and stupid, because it shuts down the thinking part of your brain and just jumps into fight or flight and that crazy animal instinct does your talking. People don't think when they're going crazy like that - they just act and react. You'll notice that the person behaves quite different after calming down.

I mean revenge cos I report people when I legit think they deserve it and am legit offended.

Apparently there's been a lot of weirdo timposters on twitter last year so maybe it was one of them?

It is more important to report those who have actually done something wrong.  However, I will also click the 'Report' button when I only suspect violations of the Rules, and then leave it to the mods to check it out.  Most of the time, my suspicions are confirmed; sometimes they are not.  "Them's tha breaks", I guess.

But like I stated before, I am likely to be more tolerant of someone who has treated myself and others with kindness and/or civility than someone whose posts are consistently trollish or subversive -- Conspiracy Theories, for example.

Yeah - when I'm on here I under report tbh.

Sometimes I will be told 'so and so got banned for how they were speaking to you'. And I wouldn't have thought to report it. Tbh I find the line hard to determine.

So I play it safe on here. After all, if someone has signed up to be on here, all they have actually signed up for is to be on an autism friendly forum. They could be completely different to me apart from the autism thing (some kind of connection whether that's another autistic person or an NT with an interest in the subject) & we could both belong on here.

When it comes to protected type accounts on social media, they're private. Someone's duty is to their own followers, unless they have an open (ie non-padlocked) account, imo. In any case, I still only report what is wrong/offensive when I find it on open accounts or it is likely to offend the followers who can actually read it. Social media has rules because of open accounts & because people might read certain things & take offence - if this is the case in a padlocked account then they aren't the intended readers.

Ok someone just posted something about innocent people who went to a football game & never came back.

A joke he made just over football team.

If he doesn't get a temp ban & I did, there's def skewed priorities on what people are reporting & it has nothing to do with offence.
