Sonic 3 on Sega Genesis.

The Master System and Game Gear versions were very similar. I had the latter (sadly my hardware doesn't work anymore. Cheap condensators ...). Could get a few of the Chaos Emeralds but not all. The one on the Zeppelin level was just seemingly impossible to reach, not until the advent of Youtube that I got the knack of the hidden path to it.

I found some ways to glitch the original Sonic 3 and reach the Knuckles areas. Back then in the 90s, I didn't understand what the purpose of those areas was, I just thought it was leftover beta stuff.

ohhh yea. spent many hours on it, and sonic and knuckles DLC

, for me it's the best sega emulator for now

I'm currently watching a playthrough of the entire Genesis (and Sega CD) saga where the player is going for a full 100% run.

This means all (if possible) rings collected, item monitors smashed, badniks destroyed, chaos emeralds (and time stones) obtained, good ending achieved, no deaths or damage, and done with ALL playable characters.

I had Sonic 3 on Sega Genesis when I was younger and loved it. I got pretty much to the last stage but never managed to beat it. I love the Ice Cap Zone the most!
