I've only been what I'd consider inebriated once, and I broke my toe (that'll teach me). To be fair, it was on a rather bad birthday of mine, so...yeah. I'm sure the "don't drink alcohol with these" stickers kinda accentuated the effects of the little too much 38%. In good news, I don't behave any differently, other than just increased levels of sedation and clumsiness as the dosage is increased (much like any GABAA agonist), nor do I have any addictive issues (more good news in that my father was a drug addict among other things in that game, so genetic risk might have been there). My body didn't consider it toxic, albeit it does for general anesthetics as they do make me feel a little sick afterwards, though I'm unsure what ones I've been given before, as some utilize strong NMDA antagonism too.

Most GABAA agonists or other GABA potentiating compounds that come from pharmacies don't have much of an effect on me in that I need a higher dose to reach therapeutic effects. I remember one doctor giving me IV Diazepam in the hopes of calming me down wondering why it had no effect on me, and questioned if I took high amounts of Benzodiazepines daily. I wasn't even taking any then. I'm younger than the Barbiturate days, so no idea there.
