Lol , there will be other extreme stuff happening at the same time so 'every knee will bow' cos it will be unmistakable what is going on

That doesn’t seem very likely.

I wouldn’t bow. If I saw someone, not in a loincloth, descending from the sky, I would call a psychiatrist.

In the unlikely event that I actually thought the strange person was Jesus, I still wouldn’t bow. Even if a deity were real, it doesn’t mean that I would choose to worship him or her. I’m not a worshipping kind of gal. Blasphemy is much more my style.

If I was standing directly below him, I would try to avoid looking up. Modesty could be a real issue when one is floating in the sky in robes, not that I have much experience with that sort of thing.

Right....if somebody who looks like how Jesus is portrayed in many paintings happened upon me, I would KNOW that this is not Jesus.....and it would be time for the looney bin for me.

Even if a person looked reasonably convincing, I think such a vision would be more likely the result of mental illness than of reality.

Even if he were real, I wouldn’t bow. I’m not a member of the Jesus Fan Club.

I think Jesus, himself, was rather cool at times, though he, obviously, wasn't perfect. He was "a man of his times," so to speak.

It's the subsequent history AFTER Jesus that isn't very cool at all.

He, allegedly, said things that I don’t really approve of. Maybe when he descends from Heaven, I can tell him where and when he went wrong. :lol:

Various writings, including alleged quotes from the Man himself, were the catalyst for later problems.

I sense that it would be rather inconvenient for Jesus were He to "come back."

He would have A LOT of work to do.....

I bet He knows this....and decided to stay just where He is.....

We’ve been going through an especially rough patch the past couple of years, but generally, things are WAY better now than they were in Jesus’ day.

I agree.....generally, it's a lot better for quite a few people than it was in medieval times.

But, nevertheless, He would still have a lot of work to do.

Jesus didn’t live in medieval times.

Are you suggesting that a supposedly loving divinity would let people suffer because of a reluctance to perform hard work?
